Study on Inlet Flow Field Structure and End-Wall Effect of Axial Flow Pump Impeller under Design Condition

The existing experimental technology cannot accurately and quantitatively measure the flow field structure wall boundary layer displacement effect in axial pump. Based on SST k-ω turbulence model, a three-dimensional unsteady numerical simulation of whole an pump was presented at designed operating point to overcome weakness traditional measurement methods measuring inlet studied result compared with theoretical design value. It found that there is obvious impeller rotation end-wall inlet. distribution law crowding coefficient caused by were obtained. experiment calculation domain should be kept distance more than 0.5 Ds away from eliminate influence effect. Through contrastive analysis, it difference between calculated value due taken into account when designing This study has certain reference significance for further understanding improving theory
